Short bio
PhD in Geology-Geosciences from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, with a focus on material synthesis, trace element and isotope analysis. Postdoc as part of the Polychromy Research Group at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Denmark, then as part of TIMBER at the Saxo Institute, UCPH, and as part of ET-Home at the Research Group Analytical, Environmental and Geo-Chemistry at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Postdoc and MSCA-IFellow as part of the Research Group Object Itineraries at the Austrian Archaeological Institute (OeAI) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW) and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Vienna. Supervision of academic theses and teaching in geochemistry and archaeometry at the University of Copenhagen, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, University of Vienna and University of Applied Arts Vienna. Since 2023 PI of the ERC Starting Grant HUE, Senior Lecturer at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Research Associate and Junior Research Group Leader at OeAI/OeAW, and member of the Young Academy (OeAW).
